"We purchased a pre-owned Larson ski boat from Onekama Marine a few years ago. We've had service work preformed over the years and couldn't be happier with the way we've been treated. This past Spring I decided to "prep the boat myself" after calling Ted at Onekama Marine to see what I needed to do, he offered to gather everything togetrher (plugs, filters & oil) and ship them to me in Grand Rapids. I had everything within about 2 days.
This past weekend, we drove up to Onekama to pull the boat out of the water and tow it back home. My son was taking the boat to the launch, while I pulled the trailer over.
Within a 1/2 block, I noticed smoke coming from the rear wheel and quikly realized I had a flat tire and no spare.
I pulled into the main yard at Onekama and just happen to run into the General Manager closing up (6:30PM or so.
We were forced to return to GR that night, so offered to let me drop the trailer at the yard and to leave the boat at the gas dock. By the time I reached Yard #2, Ted was already securing the boat in a slip with my son. They agreed to repair the trailer and put the boat back on so I could pick it up next weekend.
The service has at Onekama marine has been wonderful. I'll never buy or have a boat serviced elsewhere!
